Electrical Door and Shutter Engineer
£17‑£20 per hour + overtime at 1.5x + company van + 25 days holiday (+bank) + progression. Leeds and surrounding area, covering local Yorkshire patch.
This role is field‑based, covering commercial and industrial sites across Yorkshire. The Electrical Door and Shutter Engineer will carry out planned maintenance, reactive repairs and installation of doors, shutters and access systems.
The Role
- Service, maintenance and repair of electric doors and shutters
- Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on commercial sites
- Reactive fault finding and first‑time fix repairs
- Installation of roller shutters, sectional doors and access systems
- Electrical wiring, commissioning and testing of control panels
- Working from technical drawings and manuals
- Covering a regional Yorkshire patch
- Updating jobs via job management system
The Person
- Background as an Electrical Door and Shutter Engineer
- Experience with roller shutters, sectional or industrial doors
- Electrical fault finding and installation experience
- Electrical qualification (18th Edition, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
- Full UK driving licence
