We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Geography Early Career Teacher to join our successful Humanities department at a thriving secondary school in Thurrock. This is an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified teacher to develop their practice within a school that places high value on staff development, wellbeing, and student achievement.

About the Role

As a Geography ECT, you will:

• Teach Geography across Key Stages 3 and 4 (with opportunities at KS5 for the right candidate)
• Deliver engaging, inclusive, and knowledge-rich lessons
• Contribute to a well-established and supportive Humanities team
• Take part fully in the schools ECT induction programme, with high-quality mentoring and CPD
• Inspire students to develop curiosity and a strong understanding of the world around them

We Are Looking For Someone Who

• Holds (or is completing) Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Has a strong subject knowledge and passion for Geography
• Is reflective, motivated, and eager to develop as a practitioner
• Has high expectations of student behaviour, progress, and achievement
• Works well collaboratively and is committed to continuous improvement
