About the Role
As a Senior Account Executive, you will provide proactive organisational and project management support to publications-focused client accounts within our EMC (Envision Medical Communications) business. Your role will help optimise processes and drive organic business growth alongside the Account Management lead. You must be able to work Eastern Time hours.
Responsibilities
- Prepare or support the preparation of project timelines.
- Develop and maintain account‑specific project tracking information for internal team and/or client use.
- Act as the point person on assigned areas of responsibility for internal team members, client, and other external stakeholders, responding independently and proactively to queries and requests.
- Liaise internally within the core account team and with shared services to monitor adherence to timelines, troubleshooting project delivery issues and escalating as necessary.
- Coordinate the scheduling and execution of meetings and telecons, prepare agendas and meeting notes, and follow‑up independently on action items.
- Build positive relationships with the client and other external project stakeholders.
- Apply a sound understanding of account financial management techniques (with supervision from the Account Management lead as needed) to manage the financial aspects of assigned projects, including scope of work, budget development, budget tracking, invoicing, and reconciliation.
- Prepare or support the preparation of materials for submission to client systems or tools and/or other platforms or websites.
- Employ EPG proprietary platforms and/or other client‑specific tools as required on assigned account(s) and act as an account team expert on these, proactively leading compliant utilisation and internal training.
Qualifications & Skills
- Demonstrated experience in a publications‑focused project/account management role in a medical communications agency is essential.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and manage multiple projects.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite (especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook).
- Experience using publications planning software platforms (e.g., iEnvision, PubStrat, Komodo) required.
- Experience developing and tracking project budgets desirable but not essential.
Salary & Benefits
Salary range (US only): $50,000 – $75,000.
