Role Overview
An experienced, competent project manager will be involved in a multi-year large-scale delivery programme, managing projects from initiation to closure. The role involves regular travel to both sites.
Desired Experience
- On-site project implementation
- Use of MS Project
- Prince2 Practitioner or PMP Professional
- Managing complex project scope, cost and quality outputs against contracted requirements
- Implementing WAN projects
- Commercial and project financial management
- Project forecasting
- Experience working within the defence arena
- H&S qualified (IOSH or equivalent)
Key Skills
- End-to-end responsibility for managing assigned projects to closure in line with defined baseline and cost
- Risk, scope, change and stakeholder management
- JSP experience desirable
- Experience with simple to complex project levels
- Dependency management
- Resource management
- Schedule management
- Cost management
- Project management qualification such as Prince 2 or PMP
- Commercially aware
- Excellent soft skills
