Staff Product Manager – Alternative Payment Methods
Checkout.com is seeking a Staff Product Manager and leader to own the strategy and delivery of our APM solutions on a global scale. You will provide cross-functional leadership across product, engineering, and business teams, to enable our customers to leverage Checkout.com for a viable open-banking solution. Daily tasks include understanding stakeholders’ pain points, driving prioritization for product development, and developing new capabilities for our customers.
Hybrid Working Model: All of our offices globally are onsite 3 times per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday). We’ve worked towards enabling teams to work collaboratively in the same space, while also being able to partner with colleagues globally. During your days at the office, we offer amazing snacks, breakfast, and lunch options in all of our locations.
About you:
7-10 years of product management experience.
You possess practical experience taking open banking-powered solutions from concept to launch, with a solid grasp of the key technologies, regulatory drivers, key players/suppliers in the market and customer use cases that define the ecosystem.
Data-driven: Skilled at leveraging data and business insights to determine strategic priorities and drive the product roadmap and execution.
Customer-first: Think from the customer’s perspective and can balance future opportunities with immediate needs.
End-to-end mindset: Think in a structured and diligent manner, understanding all key components necessary to drive the ongoing success of a product.
Leadership: Excellent at collaborating with stakeholders in product, engineering, commercial, and business teams proactively, demonstrating high EQ and influencing skills.
Effective communicator: Able to inspire others with a shared vision and simplify complex concepts for a wide range of audiences.
Key responsibilities:
Own the strategy and delivery of Checkout.com’s APM portfolio solution across our entire global merchant ecosystem.
Build strong partnerships with business, product, and technology stakeholders and work with them to gain their buy-in and collaboration to generate momentum for your products.
Work with other product and engineering leaders to ensure alignment with their roadmaps and delivery.
Gain a deep understanding of Checkout.com’s customers and business.
Foster a team culture that upholds Checkout.com’s operating principles.
