The Role

As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving the strategic growth of fabrication and site installation services by securing new business and expanding existing client accounts.

Your duties and responsibilities will be:

  • Develop and implement effective business growth strategies
  • Identify and pursue new market opportunities across fabrication and site services
  • Support tendering and bid activities, including proposal development
  • Build, manage, and maintain strong client relationships
  • Collaborate with operational teams to ensure smooth project handovers
  • Manage and progress opportunities through the full sales lifecycle
  • Achieve and exceed sales and revenue targets
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to optimise commercial performance

You will have the following skills & qualifications:

  • Proven experience in business development or sales within fabrication, engineering, construction, or industrial services
  • Strong knowledge of fabrication services such as pipework, structural steel, welding, or E&I works
  • Demonstrated ability to manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to contract award
  • Strong commercial awareness with experience in pricing, tendering, and negotiationsExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills across all levels
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple opportunities across a wide geographical area
  • Willingness to travel regularly and adapt to changing business needs
