Key Responsibilities
- Processing of planning applications in line with legislation and policy
- Provision of general planning advice to applicants and stakeholders
- Preparation and handling of planning appeals
- Contributing to the development of planning policy and associated documents
- Investigation of breaches of planning control and making appropriate recommendations
- Preparing clear, well‑reasoned reports and professional correspondence
- Ongoing continuing professional development in Town Planning
- Providing mentoring and guidance to more junior team members
