Northern Ireland Ambulance Service HSC Trust (NIAS) This is a significant opportunity to join the Board of the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service HSC Trust (NIAS) and contribute to the strategic direction of ambulance and patient care services across Northern Ireland. NIAS delivers emergency, paramedic and patient transport services to a population of approximately 1.9 million people and operates at the centre of the Health and Social Care (HSC) system. The Trust is seeking to appoint an Executive Director of Finance, Procurement, Fleet & Estates to provide strategic leadership across these critical functions. This is a senior system leadership post, with responsibility for financial sustainability, transformation and delivery of impact across the wider HSC system. Key Responsibilities As a member of the Trust Board, you will lead the Trusts financial and resource strategy, ensuring financial stewardship, sustainability, strong governance and the delivery of high-quality, value-based care. You will be responsible for: Providing strategic leadership for the Trusts finance and resource agenda Overseeing the effective management of significant revenue and capital budgets Ensuring robust governance, assurance, risk management and statutory compliance Contributing to and influencing regional financial planning across the HSC system Developing effective partnerships with government, commissioning and provider organisations Contributing fully to corporate leadership and decision-making as a Trust Board member We are seeking: A senior, credible leader with experience operating at scale in complex environments, capable of delivering financial performance and influencing system-wide change.
