Role Overview We are seeking a Senior Front-End Developer to lead the delivery of accessible user-centric interfaces for a secure law enforcement data service. This role requires a strong focus on creating scalable front-end solutions while adhering to accessibility standards and best practises.
Responsibilities – Lead the development of scalable front-end solutions using React. – Champion best practises in performance, accessibility, and maintainability. – Implement standards aligned with the (url removed) Design System. – Collaborate with backend teams, designers, and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and user experience. – Mentor junior developers and contribute to the overall technical direction of the team.
Qualifications – Extensive experience with React and modern JavaScript. – Strong understanding of accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG). – Experience integrating with RESTful APIs. – Proven experience working within UK Government or public sector environments (essential). – Experience with the (url removed) Design System.
