The Role QS / Estimator
Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of projects, our client is seeking a motivated QS / Estimator to join their team.

This is a permanent position within a specialist aluminium glazing contractor, offering an excellent opportunity to play a key role in a growing, family-run business known for its high standards, quality delivery, and strong client relationships.


Key Responsibilities

Manage the full tendering process from initial enquiry through to completion
Prepare detailed cost estimates for curtain walling, windows, and doors using Logikal
Review architectural drawings and specifications to produce accurate proposals and Bills of Quantities (BOQs)
Collaborate with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth project handovers
Assist with raising and issuing Purchase Orders
Produce and manage project budgets
Support the raising and close-out of variations
Develop and manage your own sales pipeline
Contribute to business development and company growth initiatives


Candidate Requirements

Experience estimating aluminium curtain walling, doors, windows, and/or faades (desirable but not essential)
Strong working knowledge of Logikal and Microsoft Office
Excellent ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings
Proactive approach to client engagement and sales follow-up
Strong communication skills with a collaborative mindset
Understanding of fabrication, workshop processes, and on-site installation
Experience with CAD software (desirable but not essential)
Proven ability or exposure to developing and winning new business within construction or faades
