Accounts Technician || BT18 || £28-32K

Artemis Human Capital is pleased to be partnering with a reputable local accountancy practice as they seek to appoint an Accounting Technician to their friendly team. This is an excellent role for an experienced accounting professional who has previous experience working within a practice environment. This is a newly created role for the firm, and will work closely alongside the existing accountancy & tax teams.

Job Overview

This is an excellent role working with a diverse client portfolio & will work across the following areas:

• General bookkeeping for a portfolio of local clients.
• Payroll processing.
• Liaising with clients to ensure all queries are answered quickly & efficiently.
• Assisting with the production of accounts.

Candidate Criteria

To be considered for this role, you will ideally possess the following attributes:

• Previous experience working within an accountancy practice.
• 1-2 years' experience working in a similar role.
• Payroll experience is essential.
• IATI qualification would be advantageous but not essential.
• Proactive individual with a solution-orientated approach.
