Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced SEND Transformation Project Manager to lead and deliver meaningful change across Special Educational Needs and Disabilities services. This pivotal role requires a professional passionate about improving outcomes for children and young people with SEND and ensuring services are inclusive, effective, and future‑focused.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement strategic transformation programmes, including the local area delivery plan, working collaboratively with education, health and social care partners.
- Drive service improvement, ensure compliance with statutory requirements and embed best practice across all areas of SEND provision.
- Manage complex projects, analyse performance data and identify opportunities for innovation and efficiency.
- Engage with senior leaders, schools, families and external partners to co‑produce sustainable solutions.
Qualifications and Experience
- Strong understanding of SEND legislation and policy.
- Proven experience in programme or project management with a track record of delivering large‑scale transformation initiatives.
- Highly organised, resilient, and able to navigate change in a fast‑paced environment.
- Demonstrated competency in spoken English to CEFR level C1 (fluent and spontaneous conversation with the public).
Working Conditions
Hybrid working arrangements are available. Your contractual location will be the designated council office for your team, with arrangements determined by the role’s requirements and your needs.
