Quality Assurance

Alexander Steele are working in partnership with a well-established food manufacturing business who are looking to recruit a QA to join their Technical team. The ideal candidate has worked in a food manufacturing environment within a Quality Assurance role.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Support site compliance with food safety, quality and customer technical standards across shift operations
• Monitor and communicate site performance relating to non-conformances, complaints, GMP and hygiene standards
• Assist with managing food safety and quality issues, ensuring timely resolution and escalation where required
• Deliver site inductions, training and coaching aligned with policies, procedures and work instructions
• Coordinate non-conformance actions and ensure completion within agreed timelines
• Support internal audits and verification activities aligned to the Food Safety Management System
• Ensure environmental, raw material and finished product sampling is completed in line with schedules
• Maintain accurate documentation and records to support audit readiness and compliance standards
• Promote a strong right-first-time and GMP culture across production teams

On Offer

• Salary: £34,785.22
• Shift Pattern: Panama Days (12‑hour shifts)
