Pertemps are currently working alongside one of Edinburgh’s largest employers to recruit for a Customer Service Operative to work within Edinburgh Bus Station in the City Centre.If you have strong customer service skills and are looking for a new challenge this could be the role for you!Full training will be provided. Opportunities for First Aid training, Overtime availableShift Pattern: 7 days on, 3 off. Then 7 days on 4 off. Woking on rotation between 06.15-14.45 or 14.15-22.40Rate of pay:Weekday Standard – £14.51Weekday unsociable (Monday – Friday 6am-7am, 9pm – 12am) – £18.56Weekend standard (Sat&Sun, 7am-9pm) – £17.63Weekend unsociable (Sat&Sun 6am-7am, 9pm-12am) – £21.68You must be fully flexible to work Monday to Sunday.Duration: Ongoing temporary assignmentUp to 33 days holiday per yearThe Customer Service Operative will:Managing live traffic movementsService provision to users of the bus stationEnsuring that all facilities and areas of the bus station are in a safe and clean conditionAssist in managing/developing and improving services and facilities at the bus stationEnsuring that agreed levels of service are maintainedFull training will be providedWhat we are looking for:Ability to work within a team environment, with both internal and external partnersAbility to interact with users of the bus station and provide clear and accurate information on servicesHigh level of customer serviceStrong problem solving skillsA degree of tact, diplomacy and sensitivity, both personal and political natureA can-do attitudeLiteracy and strong IT knowledgeStrong communication skillsExcellent awareness of Health and Safety requirementsPreferably experience of working within a live traffic environmentPersonal attributes:Well presentedEnthusiasticResilientMotivated and eager to work to high standards during all shiftsGood listening skillsWork using your own initiative or as part of a teamHighly reliableExcellent observation skills due to the high level of health and safety requirementsIf you are interested in the role and have the relevant skills and flexible with shifts please apply via this advert….
