Norwich City Council is seeking an outstanding Director of Property Services to lead the strategic direction, transformation and long‑term stewardship of its residential property portfolio. This is a great opportunity to shape the future of housing services in one of the UK’s most distinctive and forward‑thinking cities.

You’ll join the Council’s leadership team at a pivotal moment, helping to deliver a structural reform of housing and property services. With responsibility for 17,500 homes, major capital programmes, compliance, decarbonisation and long‑term asset strategy, this role is central to delivering positive outcomes for residents and supporting placemaking across Norwich.

Norwich City Council has recently received a C1 rating from the Social Housing Regulator which evidences the improvements already made as well as the ambition it has for its residents. However there is still very much more to do, and Norwich has some clear plans for improvement to keep up the pace of improvement.
