Department Description

With a global footprint, the Universal Music Group Rights Product & Services Team designs, develops, delivers, maintains & supports technical solutions which enable the capture and maintenance of contracts relating to repertoire delivery and the assignment of repertoire delivered under those contracts.

The team continuously collaborates with our international business teams to deliver innovative solutions as well as supporting best practices and new processes for a better ‘rights’ experience.

The Role

The Senior Developer will be responsible for developing and maintaining UMG’s Rights front-end applications, back-end processing and services, using the tech stack described.

The Senior Developer will be part of an agile product team, collaborating closely with product owners, business analysts, the tech lead, other developers, QAs and DevOps to deliver secure, performant and reliable solutions.

There is an expectation that the successful candidate will be a self‑starter, be able to adapt quickly to the team, be able to quickly get up to speed with the Rights systems with a minimum of supervision and be comfortable coming into an environment where we are aiming to deliver to a tight schedule.
