The Role
You will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating CNC milling machines using Heidenhain controls, producing precision components to exacting standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Programming CNC milling machines using Heidenhain controls (online/offline)
- Setting and operating 3/4/5‑axis CNC mills
- Interpreting engineering drawings and producing components to tight tolerances
- Selecting appropriate tooling, speeds, and feeds
- Conducting in‑process inspection using measuring equipment
- Problem‑solving and making programme adjustments to optimise efficiency
- Working independently while maintaining high quality standards
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a CNC Miller / Programmer
- Strong knowledge of Heidenhain controls
- Ability to programme from scratch
- Experience working within a precision engineering environment
- Confident reading technical drawings
- Self‑motivated with a proactive approach
