Data Engineer - Hedge Fund

Our client is a leading Global Hedge Fund who are looking to hire a Data Engineer to join their London Office. You will work closely with investment and business teams, building and maintaining thousands of data ingestion processes and owning the platforms that monitor these processes. The processes feed investment decisions and help to model the fund's view of the financial world.

Responsibilities

• Building Data Ingestion Pipelines and Platforms.
• Building reliable, scalable, and flexible systems.
• Explore the Data, identifying features and issues and articulating the results to Front Office teams.
• Influence Opinion and decision-making across Data Management

Skills

• Python
• SQL / Pandas/ Snowflake / Elasticsearch
• Airflow / Spark

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant data engineering experience post-graduation
