Senior Research Analyst

The Senior Research Analyst plays a crucial role in the sales process, identifying and directly contacting potential buyers who may be interested in purchasing our clients’ businesses.
We use a bespoke, state‑of‑the‑art system to scour industry‑specific data, financial information, and geographic indicators to fulfill our clients’ approved research strategy. Successful analysts think imaginatively, identify less obvious buyers, and communicate acquisition advantages, building lasting relationships with key decision makers in UK and global organisations.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct research into potential buyers.
- Develop research strategies.
- Identify key contacts within target businesses and use a variety of contact methods to generate interest.
- Perform independent research and outreach within our network of known contacts.
- Liaise with buyers to understand the types of businesses they seek and match them with our clients.
- Liaise with clients to secure approval for NDAs signed by potential purchasers.
Qualifications and Experience
- At least 2 years of research‑driven or analytic experience, preferably in the financial services sector.
- Self‑motivation, discipline and excellent time‑management skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong written and oral communication skills.
- Creative problem‑solver who thinks differently to develop innovative solutions.
