A Little Bit More About Your Role
To support the continued growth of our Asset Management service line, we are looking for a motivated and forward‑thinking Asset Management Consultant. This role offers the opportunity to help deliver asset management solutions across a wide range of infrastructure and energy assets.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the integration of condition monitoring across a range of energy assets (wind, gas, hydro, etc.), supporting predictive maintenance and improved asset performance for clients.
- Provide technical advice on asset health, lifecycle extension, and reliability, drawing on experience in SCADA analysis, vibration diagnostics, and risk‑based maintenance planning.
- Support early fault detection, asset integrity, and evidence‑based decision‑making.
- Work closely with engineering and operations teams to turn asset data into practical insights and support continuous improvement.
- Support the development of the Asset & Quality Solutions team by improving tools and processes to enhance inspection, quality, and asset management activities.
- Act as a link between technical specialists and wider project teams to support the successful use of new tools and approaches.
- Lead internal workshops, training sessions, and knowledge‑sharing activities to build capability and encourage innovation.
- Identify opportunities to improve and streamline quality processes, increasing efficiency and data accuracy.
What We Will Be Looking For You To Demonstrate
- A degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Materials, Renewable Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Experience in asset management within energy or infrastructure environments.
- An understanding of SCADA systems, CMMS tools, and performance analysis.
- Knowledge of electrical infrastructure, mechanical systems, and operational environments.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with a whole‑system view of assets.
- Confidence working with clients, project teams, and external stakeholders.
Desirable (but Not Essential)
- Experience with complex infrastructure assets such as turbines, foundations, cables, or substations.
- Knowledge of relevant standards (e.g. ISO 55000, DNV, IEC).
- Experience with condition monitoring, CMMS/EAM systems, or inspection planning tools.
- Chartership or progress toward chartered status (e.g. CEng, IEng).
