Are you looking for a new role as a clinical psychologist in CAMHS and have a dedication to offering services for children and young people?
We have an opportunity for a Highly Specialist Counselling/Clinical Psychologist (or preceptorship for a Band 7 to 8a position) within our Core Team in Solar.
The Core Team is an integral part of the Solar service, which provides emotional wellbeing and mental health services to Children, Young People and Families in Solihull (0-18). Solar aims to deliver timely access to appropriate support in line with children and young people's needs.
Locations
The main base for this post will be at Bishop Wilson Clinic in Chelmsley Wood. Occasional work may be required at other bases, including the Solar base at Fresh Fields Clinic in Knowle.
Responsibilities
- Assist in delivery of the service to children, young people and families within Solar Core, including highly specialist psychological assessments, individual therapy and group work.
- Develop supervision of psychological therapists and assistant psychologists.
- Provide consultation, service development, research and teaching/training as required.
- Lead on aspects of the service and undertake ongoing CPD and training.
