Job Overview
This 6 to 12‑month post offers candidates the opportunity to gain experience in Intensive Care Medicine (ICM) within a busy District General Hospital. Accreditation as the University Department of Critical Care Medicine was awarded in 2022 and in parallel with exceptional clinical experience, this post will also offer the exciting opportunity for dedicated clinical research time.
Candidate Profile
This job would be ideally suited to individuals who are committed to or strongly considering a career in ICM or a related acute speciality, and who are hoping to develop an ongoing interest in clinical research. It would also be appropriate for Faculty of Intensive Care Medicine (FICM) trainees seeking their special skills Stage 2 training with appropriate prospective approval. Some experience of ICM is strongly desirable.
