An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Electronics Engineer to join a growing technology company in Scotland. As a Senior Electronics Engineer, you will design and develop advanced digital and mixed-signal electronics for high-performance communication applications. The role will involve schematic capture, PCB design, FPGA integration, and system validation, working closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver reliable and innovative solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of digital and mixed-signal systems integrating FPGAs
- Undertake schematic capture, PCB design, and component selection
- Develop high speed digital electronics
- Support prototyping, bring-up, debugging, and validation in the lab
- Contribute to design reviews, documentation, and compliance activities
Requirements
- Degree in Electronic or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
- Strong background in digital circuit design and PCB development
- Experience with simulation and lab testing tools
- FPGA design experience is ideal, but learning opportunities are available
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to lead technical projects
