Electrical Design Engineer

Overview

A special purpose machinery manufacturer is looking for an ELECTRICAL DESIGN ENGINEER to join an experienced team of design engineers. The role involves developing electrical hardware designs for new machinery and upgrading the electrical aspects of existing machines, in a well‑funded, growing company with international orders.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical hardware, PLC hardware, control panels, and wiring schematics across the machine, specifying components such as sensors, drives, and safety circuitry.
• Use EPlan or AutoCAD Electrical to produce CAD electrical designs.
• Help solve problems during manufacture, modifying drawings or designs to facilitate easier build and wiring.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Electrical Design Engineer.
• Knowledge of EPLAN, AutoCAD Electrical, safety standards, EN13849, control panel design or wiring schematic drawings and designs.
• Interest in designing electrical special purpose machinery and contributing to next‑generation technologies.
• Desire to grow with the company and be recognized as an expert.
