In our Regional Civils division, you’ll lead a dedicated team of quantity surveyors on a major infrastructure scheme in Benacre, East Suffolk. This heavy Civils project is governed by NEC contracts, and you’ll be involved from the ground up—bringing your expertise to shape its success from the earliest stages. It’s your chance to make a lasting impact. This role offers remote working rather than fully site‑based, with occasional visits when required.

What You’ll Be Doing

This is a management position for an individual with the business acumen to develop commercial opportunity on projects within the business stream to achieve and exceed profitability targets. Proven experience in the ability to lead, influence and communicate with others, and to create successful commercial teams at all levels, is required. Demonstrable experience within a heavy Civils background, specifically the management of major earthwork schemes, is required. Substantial previous experience in quantity surveying within a relevant business environment and a valid CSCS card are required. Membership of a relevant professional body and/or relevant professional qualification is desirable, such as RICS/CIOB/RIBA/ICE/CIBSE.

The ability to operate successfully in a commercial environment and previous experience of managing project commercial performance is necessary. Commercial awareness is required to assess margin, risk and cash flow.
