Senior PCS7 Engineer
Location - Glasgow

What will you be doing?
- Leading software design, development and implementation for DCS and PLC/SCADA systems
- Managing and supporting a team through the full project lifecycle
- Producing design and test documentation
- Carrying out Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT)
- Reviewing and checking technical work from other engineers
- Supporting and mentoring junior engineers
You’ll join a well-established engineering business working on complex projects across energy, renewables and industrial environments. The team delivers high‑integrity control systems in regulated sectors, with a strong focus on innovation and long‑term development.
What you’ll need:
- Strong experience with Siemens PCS7/Neo
- Experience with at least one other PLC platform (Siemens, Rockwell or Schneider)
- SCADA experience (e.g. WinCC, Zenon, FactoryTalk or similar)
- Experience across the full project lifecycle
- Ability to produce technical specifications and test documentation
- Experience leading or mentoring engineers
- Knowledge of IEC61131 programming (ladder, FBD, SFC, structured text)
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
