An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and customer-focused Sales Executive to join a busy automotive showroom in Chichester. Whether you already have motor trade experience or are looking to build a career in sales, we are looking for someone with enthusiasm, strong people skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences. Full training on vehicles and systems will be provided.
The Role
As a Sales Executive, you will work closely with customers to understand their needs, guide them through the car-buying journey, and help them choose the right vehicle and finance options.
Key responsibilities include:
- Welcoming customers and building strong relationships
- Demonstrating vehicles and arranging test drives
- Advising on pricing, finance options, and additional products
- Managing customer enquiries and following up leads
- Liaising with internal teams to ensure smooth vehicle delivery
- Maintaining customer contact to encourage repeat business
- Organising your daily sales activity and prospecting for new customers
What We're Looking For
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Self‑motivated with a positive, proactive attitude
- Ability to work towards targets and deadlines
- Good organisation and attention to detail
- Basic IT skills (Microsoft Office and web systems)
- A willingness to learn and develop
Working Hours
- Monday – Friday: 08:30 – 18:00 (with one weekday off)
- Saturday: 08:30 – 17:00
- Sunday: 10:00 – 16:00 (1 in 4 rota)
