Health & Safety Manager
An opportunity is now available for an experienced Health and Safety Manager to join a rapidly expanding storage facility provider. This is a key role in the organisation and you will co‑ordinate, support and advise the business on all aspects of Health and Safety in the workplace.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring and improving safety standards across the business
- Developing and implementing safety policies and procedures
- Conducting regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments
- Providing comprehensive safety training to employees
- Investigating and reporting incidents and accidents
- Collaborating with department heads to maintain a secure working environment
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum 3 years of recent and relevant experience in health and safety management
- NEBOSH (General Certificate) qualified or equivalent accreditation
- NEBOSH Fire Safety Certificate & Fire Safety Management
- COSHH Trained
- Experience in implementing and monitoring Fire Risk Assessments
- Experience in advising on handling H&S investigations, and delivering training
- Strong knowledge of formulating, implementing, and revising H&S policies and procedures
- Up-to-date understanding of Health and Safety laws and regulations
