Overview

An innovative, fast-growing technology consultancy is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to drive revenue growth and expand enterprise client relationships. This contract role is ideal for a commercially minded sales professional with a strong background in consulting-led sales and exposure to ESG and/or AI-driven technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and drive the end-to-end sales process, from lead generation through to deal close
  • Build and manage a strong pipeline of mid-market and enterprise clients
  • Engage senior stakeholders to understand strategic, regulatory, and technology challenges
  • Position consulting and technology-led solutions in a clear, value-driven manner
  • Work closely with delivery and leadership teams to shape propositions and bids
  • Meet and exceed agreed revenue and pipeline targets
  • Provide market feedback to support product and proposition development

Required Experience

  • 5+ years’ experience in B2B sales within a consulting, advisory, or professional services environment
  • Proven track record of selling complex, solution-led services
  • Experience selling or exposure to ESG, sustainability, data, or AI-driven technology solutions (highly desirable)
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience selling into senior decision-makers
  • Self-starter mindset with the ability to operate effectively in a contract role

Nice to Have

  • Background in technology, data, or digital transformation consulting
  • Experience working with scale-ups or fast-growth consultancies
  • Existing network within sustainability, ESG, or emerging technology markets
