Our Hillier Garden Centre at Newbury is a well‑established and popular destination for gardening enthusiasts, offering a wide range of plants, gifts, outdoor living product and expert advice.

The primary purpose of the Garden Centre Shop Manager role is to oversee the day‑to‑day operations within the shop and food hall area of the garden centre. This includes ensuring high standards of customer service and product quality, optimising performance and profitability, managing staff, and maintaining compliance with health and safety protocols.

This role also involves working closely with management to meet revenue objectives and ensuring the smooth operation of the shop and food hall within budget.

Previous experience in merchandising, ideally within food, gifting or home retail, is highly desirable and will support success in this role.

This role is being offered on a full time, permanent basis of 37.5 hours per week on a rota basis.
