Lead and manage production teams to achieve daily output, efficiency, and quality targets
Monitor production processes to ensure full compliance with food safety and quality standards
Identify and resolve production issues quickly to minimise downtime and maintain efficiency
Train, mentor, and develop team members in safety, hygiene, and production best practices
Take ownership for product quality, safety, and right-first-time production
Promote a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement
Work closely with Quality, Maintenance, and Despatch teams to ensure smooth site operations
Proven experience in a supervisory or Shift Manager role within food manufacturing
Strong leadership and people-management capability
High attention to detail with a strong commitment to food safety and quality
Confident decision-maker in a fast-paced production environment
Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally
Desirable:
Experience with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement tools
Health & Safety qualification (e.g. IOSH Managing Safely)
Strong mechanical awareness and ability to troubleshoot minor issues
