Non‑Executive Director

We are looking for a values‑driven, inclusive and independent board level leader to join our dynamic Board and to chair our Audit Committee. This role offers the chance to support the Trust through the next phase of its transformation, aligning our ambitions with the NHS 10‑Year Health Plan for England and ongoing system reform.

Key responsibilities include:

• Chairing the Audit Committee and leading related governance work.
• Supporting the Trust’s transformation and aligning strategy with national health plans.
• Driving continuous organisational development and championing critical services.
• Providing strategic and analytical oversight, including assurance through robust controls and risk management systems.

Qualifications and experience required:

• Values‑driven, inclusive and independent board level leadership.
• Recent, relevant financial leadership experience in complex organisational settings.
• Accountancy qualification and strong governance expertise.
• Clear communicator with a proven track record of influencing boards.
• Strong analytical skills and experience of assurance in robust controls and risk management.
• Commitment to high‑quality patient care and an understanding of diverse communities.
