Criminal Defence Solicitor (All Levels Considered)

We are seeking committed and experienced Criminal Solicitors to join a busy criminal defence team working across South Yorkshire (Sheffield, other offices in the vicinity available).

This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive and well-established department handling a broad range of criminal law matters, with strong regional recognition and a focus on client care and high‑quality representation.

We welcome applications from qualified solicitors of all levels, including newly qualified candidates and those looking to retrain into criminal law.

Key Responsibilities

  • Represent clients at the police station across a wide range of offences.
  • Conduct advocacy in the Magistrates' Court.
  • Provide clear, practical legal advice and strong client support.
  • Manage cases efficiently while maintaining high professional standards.

Qualifications

  • Qualified solicitor.
  • Experience in Crown Court proceedings and Higher Rights of Audience is beneficial but not essential.
