Responsibilities

  • Work with Public Markets/Investment Group to provide trade support for all asset classes (Public Markets and Privates), including cash equities/cash bonds, OTC derivatives such as OTC equity/index options, total return swaps, FX/NDFs, IRS/CCS and private funds/direct investments.
  • Work closely with Portfolio Managers and Traders to troubleshoot ad-hoc problems, to ensure accurate trade capture and trade support.
  • Support asset servicing and lifecycle activities including mandatory/voluntary corporate actions for all asset classes stated above, such as stock splits, spin‑offs, tender offers, rights, option exercise/assignments, TRS swap resets.
  • Work closely with external Counterparties and internal stakeholders to support the Collateral Management process for both Initial Margin and Variation Margin, and resolve discrepancies in margin differences whenever necessary.
  • Handle and resolve trade/settlement discrepancies with counterparties/custodians to ensure timely and smooth settlements.
  • Manage security setups across all systems whenever necessary.
  • Work with different stakeholders to propose continuous improvements for existing operational tasks.
  • Handle ad hoc projects/initiatives as assigned.

Requirements

  • A degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science or other related fields.
  • 5-7 years experience in handling both Derivatives and capital markets preferred.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Strong MS Excel knowledge is a must, as is comfort with Vlookups and Pivot tables. VBA/Python skillset will be great to have.
  • In-depth knowledge of post‑trade processes across EMEA/US markets.
  • Experience with SWIFT and SimCorp Dimension system will be good to have.
  • The desire for a fast‑paced environment and ‘to wear multiple hats’.
  • Self‑starter, meticulous, team player, and excellent problem‑solving skills.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and an enthusiasm for continuous learning.
