About the Role

Portico is currently recruiting for a Reservations Conference / Events Coordinator to join our team based at a prestigious investment banking client in the City of London.

This role plays a key part in ensuring the smooth coordination of all meeting room bookings and events across the site. Working closely with the Conference Services Supervisor, you will take ownership of the reservations process, ensuring all requests are managed efficiently, accurately, and in line with booking procedures.

You will be at the centre of operations, balancing multiple requests, liaising with stakeholders, and ensuring every detail is delivered to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing all meeting room and event booking requests across the site
  • Coordinating end-to-end reservations processes with accuracy and efficiency
  • Liaising with internal stakeholders, clients, and on-site vendors
  • Ensuring all bookings are correctly logged and maintained within the system
  • Maximising space utilisation and supporting effective scheduling
  • Communicating event requirements clearly to operational teams
  • Supporting the delivery of seamless, high-quality client and guest experiences

What You’ll Bring

  • A warm, professional, and approachable manner with a passion for service excellence
  • Previous experience in reservations within a 5-star hotel or high-end corporate environment
  • Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Experience using room booking or event management systems (highly desirable)
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence building relationships with stakeholders
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment
