Band 6 Colorectal Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS)

We are recruiting a highly motivated, committed individual with a background in colorectal, surgical or cancer nursing to join a team of specialist nurses providing care for patients undergoing colorectal cancer treatment, including stoma surgery and the 2‑week fast‑track triage service.

Responsibilities

  • Be professionally accountable for the delivery of standards of professional practice and behaviours as set by the Nursing & Midwifery Council.

Qualifications

  • Degree‑level education with relevant experience within the colorectal specialty.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to exercise professional autonomy and use advanced knowledge and skills.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development as a clinical nurse specialist.
