The Role
The Junior Amazon Trader will own the day-to-day trading and optimisation of Lyle & Scott’s Amazon business across multiple channels, including Amazon UK FBM, Amazon DE FBA, and Amazon Vendor (currently DE with expansion into new markets required).
This is a hands-on, junior trading role with ownership of operational execution, trading performance, and content optimisation across Amazon. You’ll work closely with internal teams across merchandising, operations and marketing to ensure strong commercial performance, brand consistency, and operational excellence, as well as owning the direct relationship with Amazon.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the day-to-day trading of Amazon accounts across FBM, FBA, and Vendor models.
- Monitor sales performance, conversion rates, traffic, and profitability.
- Provide weekly trading analysis and identify growth opportunities.
- Set up pricing, promotions, and deal planning.
- Own product listings and optimise content continuously.
- Maintain catalogue accuracy and resolve listing issues.
- Support stock management across FBM and FBA. Working closely with our operations team to ensure Amazon requirements are met 100% accurately.
- Assist with Vendor Central processes (POs, chargebacks, stock flow).
- Work with Brand & Marketing regarding Amazon Advertising campaigns and performance tracking.
- Manage account health and ensure no blockers.
- Own and manage expansion into new Amazon markets across all three fulfilment models.
About You
- Minimum 3 years’ hands‑on Amazon trading experience (essential).
- Experience across Seller Central and Vendor Central.
- Experience with external integration partners such as Tradebyte (preferred).
- Strong analytical mindset with Excel proficiency.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
- Commercially aware with a passion for marketplace trading.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally.
