Job Overview

The Business Support Intern supports the Business Support team in transactional activities, conducts KYC and compliance checks, and assists with routine administrative duties. The role offers structured exposure to maritime transactions, due‑diligence procedures, and the regulatory requirements associated with vessel ownership and operations.

This is a 3 month, paid internship based in our London office 5 days per week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Business Support team in drafting transactional and corporate documentation, including those related to vessel sale‑and‑purchase, financing, and other associated matters.
  • Support due‑diligence processes and ensure accurate maintenance of records and documentation.
  • Provide routine administrative support to help maintain efficient departmental operations.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to facilitate ongoing projects.
  • Prepare, update, and organise departmental files, reports, and trackers.
  • Contribute to ad‑hoc tasks and projects assigned by the Business Support and Legal teams.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Law, Maritime Law, Maritime Studies, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are advantageous.
  • No prior industry experience required; Suitable for entry‑level candidates with an interest in shipping.
