Job Summary

Peartree Cleaning Services is a market leader in corporate cleaning services, supporting over 200 clients across the UK. Our portfolio includes iconic buildings, corporate office environments, and high‑end commercial spaces.

We are now seeking an experienced Multi‑Site Operations Manager to oversee multiple client contracts across London. This is a hands‑on, client‑facing leadership role with full operational responsibility for service delivery across a diverse portfolio of sites. You will work closely with regional and central support teams to ensure exceptional service standards, strong client relationships, and consistent operational excellence.

Due to the nature of certain locations, an Enhanced DBS check will be required.

Responsibilities

  • Take full ownership of performance across all assigned sites.
  • Deliver KPIs in line with agreed SLAs.
  • Conduct quality audits, health & safety audits, and produce clear management reports.
  • Lead and attend regular client review meetings.
  • Identify service improvements and innovation opportunities.
  • Build strong, lasting client relationships, and drive client retention & growth.
  • Ensure consistent high standards across the portfolio.
  • Identify opportunities for additional services and contract growth.
  • Manage budgets & profitability, controlling site budgets including payroll, cover, sick pay and NI contributions.
  • Manage consumables, equipment, PPE, uniform and supplier costs.
  • Ensure additional works are properly scoped, costed, and invoiced.
  • Maintain strong commercial oversight to protect profitability.
  • Recruit and onboard new employees (including Right to Work checks via TRUST ID).
  • Ensure completion of mandatory induction and annual training modules.
  • Monitor attendance via Time & Attendance systems / Peartree 360.
  • Promote a positive, inclusive, and respectful working culture.
  • Manage HR processes efficiently and proactively.
  • Champion sustainability and environmental initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Experience within the service sector.
  • Ideally 2+ years’ cleaning management experience.
  • Proven experience managing multiple sites or contracts.
  • Strong operational leadership and people management skills.
  • Confident client‑facing communicator.
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage competing priorities.

Role Details

  • Location: Based in London.
  • Hours: 40 hours per week (flexible approach essential).
  • Salary: £35‑£38k depending on experience.
  • Pension: NEST pension scheme.
  • Checks: Enhanced DBS required.
  • Employment type: Permanent.
  • Job start date: ASAP.
  • Working pattern and days: Monday to Friday.
