Many of the young people we work with need a little extra help, a friendly face, and someone who believes in them. As a tutor, you'll be providing 1:1 support that can transform a child's confidence, help them reconnect with learning, and open doors to a brighter future. Its meaningful work and incredibly rewarding.
Position Details
- Position: 1:1 Tutor
- Start date: ASAP
- End date: Ongoing, open-ended
- Area: WF3
- Working hours: Flexible; 5-20 hours per week.
- Pay Rate: GBP20 - GBP30 per hour
Responsibilities
- Providing 1:1 support to children to build confidence and facilitate learning.
- Helping students reconnect with learning through personalized sessions.
- Using a variety of activities, games, and approaches to engage learners.
- Monitoring student progress and adapting teaching methods as needed.
Qualifications
- Experience in teaching or tutoring is ideal.
- Caring, patient, and able to make learning feel positive.
- Strong empathy and enthusiasm.
