Full-Time | Senior Consultant | Agile Delivery / Digital Transformation
Overview
Our client, a rapidly growing digital consultancy, is seeking a Senior Agile Delivery Manager to lead the successful delivery of complex digital projects across public and private sector clients.
This is a senior consulting role suited to an experienced delivery professional who thrives in agile environments, leads high-performing teams, and champions user-centred design. You will play a key role in embedding agile ways of working, influencing stakeholders, and driving continuous improvement across multidisciplinary teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of complex digital products and services within agile environments
- Facilitate core agile ceremonies, including stand‑ups, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and show‑and‑tells
- Build, motivate, and support high‑performing multidisciplinary teams
- Identify and remove delivery obstacles, ensuring teams remain focused on priorities
- Manage and track risks, dependencies, and delivery progress
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement across teams and client environments
- Coach and mentor team members on agile and lean methodologies
- Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, clients, and internal teams
- Provide line management and leadership within the delivery function
- Advocate for user‑centred design principles in all delivery activities
Requirements
- Proven experience delivering complex digital projects in agile environments
- Strong expertise in agile methodologies (e.g. Scrum, Lean, DSDM, APMG)
- Demonstrated experience leading teams of varying sizes and structures (including blended client/consultancy teams)
- Strong understanding of user‑centred design principles
- Experience using collaboration and project management tools
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience within a consultancy or client‑facing environment
- Experience working across public sector or large‑scale transformation programmes
- Candidates must be based within reasonable travelling distance of a UK office and be open to travel, including client site work where required
Formal certifications are not required; practical experience is prioritised.
