Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop Windows software using Visual Studio C++ and C#.
• Utilize software engineering tools such as source code control, build processes, and debuggers in the software development process.
• Collaborate with team members by participating in peer code and design reviews, providing comments and suggestions.
• Investigate current applications and maintain systems by monitoring and correcting software defects.
• Create software operating manuals and qualification procedures.

Qualifications

• Industry experience in a similar role.
• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent knowledge and experience.

• Web experience with HTML, XML, SOAP, and JSON.
• Database experience with SQL Server, ODBC, and SQLite.
• Good working knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, MS Access, and MS PowerPoint.
• Experience in a customer‑focused role, delivering outstanding service.

Employment Details

We are a pharmaceutical systems company based in Wokingham, and the ideal candidate will be based locally and have experience in a similar role.

We offer a salary of up to £55,000, dependent on skill set and experience, along with a profit‑related, tax‑free bonus after one year of service, an early finish on Fridays, 23 days of annual leave, 8 bank holidays, and a day off for your birthday.
