Job Title: In-House Yardi Systems SpecialistReports To: COO / CEO
Location: Manchester (Office-based, with site visits to Liverpool and other locations)

Role Overview
We are seeking a highly capable and solutions driven In House Yardi Systems Specialist to take full ownership of our Yardi ecosystem.
This is a critical role within LIVINGWAY, responsible for ensuring the platform is fully optimised, commercially effective, and aligned with operational delivery across our Build-to-Rent portfolio.
You will act as the internal expert, bridging the gap between operations, finance, leasing, and external providers ensuring the system works for the business, not against it.
Key Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of all Yardi modules including:
- Property Management & CRM
- Finance & Client Accounting
- Maintenance (MIQ)
- Resident Portal functionality
- Identify inefficiencies and implement system improvements to streamline operations
- Ensure all workflows reflect LIVINGWAY’s operational processes and standards
Implementation & Development
- Lead the ongoing development and refinement of Yardi modules including:
- Website integrations
- Work closely with external Yardi consultants to resolve outstanding issues and deliver full functionality
- Oversee testing, rollout, and adoption of new features
Data, Reporting & Commercial Insight
- Build and manage reporting dashboards
- Deliver accurate, real-time reporting on:
- Occupancy and leasing performance
- Arrears and rent collection
- Maintenance performance
- Ensure data integrity across all modules
- Provide insight to senior leadership to support decision-making
Cross-Departmental Support
- Act as the central point of contact for all Yardi-related queries across:
- Operations
- Finance
- Leasing & Marketing
- Train team members to ensure correct and consistent system usage
- Support onboarding of new team members into system processes
Process & Compliance
- Align system workflows with internal approval processes (maintenance, finance, etc.)
- Ensure compliance with:
- Renters Reform processes
- Internal audit requirements
- Maintain clear documentation of processes and system usage
- Manage relationship with Yardi account managers and support teams
- Hold external providers accountable for delivery against agreed scope
- Escalate and resolve system issues efficiently
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and commercial improvements
Key Skills & Experience
- Proven experience working with Yardi (multiple modules)
- Strong understanding of property management operations (BTR, PRS, or similar)
- Experience in system implementation, optimisation, or transformation projects
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to translate operational needs into system solutions
- Experience working with financial and reporting systemsExperience in Build-to-Rent or large-scale residential operations
- Knowledge of Power BI, or similar reporting tools
- Experience with integrations (APIs, portals, CRM systems)
- Understanding of UK lettings compliance and finance processes
