Overview
Critical Care Audit Nurse required for the critical care audit team within Barts Heart Centre, St. Bartholomew’s Hospital. The critical care audit team is part of the larger Cardiac Audit Programme.
Responsibilities
- Collect, collate, and evaluate data relating to patients from admission to discharge.
- Assist in the delivery of the audit programme, ensuring data quality meets national standards and regulations.
- Perform data analysis, monitor performance indicators, and support further service developments.
- Validate, analyse, prepare, and present data to various third parties according to deadlines and appropriate standards.
- Support the clinical audit process, measuring achievement of quality targets and participating in audit/research projects.
- Provide operational data for managerial decisions and strategic planning.
Qualifications
Knowledge of critical care audit with a clinical background in critical care is expected. Full training will be provided. Experience in clinical audit, effectiveness, and governance is desirable.
Working Hours
Monday to Friday daytime (no bank holidays). Opportunities to adjust the work pattern once proven independent.
