Overview

Are you an experienced Clinical Nurse Practitioner passionate about working in urgent care or walk‑in services? Join our team at Finchley Memorial Hospital. This role focuses on delivering high‑quality, patient‑centred care in a fast‑paced urgent care environment, diagnosing and managing a wide range of acute conditions autonomously with multidisciplinary support.

Responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality, evidence‑based care to patients with injuries and undifferentiated health problems.
• Deliver autonomous, unscheduled care to patients presenting with acute, undifferentiated conditions, including minor injuries, ailments, and complex health needs.
• Collaborate with emergency services, other healthcare professionals, statutory and voluntary agencies to deliver coordinated care.
• Work with doctors, trainee ACPs, and CLCH walk‑in centres/UCCs, including occasional cross‑cover to other sites.
• Participate in the operational management and organisational development of the service.
• Work shifts during operating hours (currently 8am–8pm, subject to change with commissioning requirements).
• Maintain evidence‑based practice, professional development, supervision, and career progression within a supportive team.
