About the role
The Clinical Night Manager at HC-One delivers the highest standard of care, assessing nursing needs, identifying necessary interventions, supervising team members, managing shifts, ensuring flawless handover summaries, and leading the home in the absence of the Home Manager. The role also involves mentoring colleagues, administering prescribed medicines, preparing incident reports, promoting residents’ independence, choice, dignity and respect, and continuously improving care.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse with a valid NMC PIN.
- Understanding of NMC standards of practice.
- Experience in a care home or similar setting.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Commitment to safeguarding: ability to recognise signs of abuse or neglect and to act appropriately.
- Passion for mentoring and supporting colleagues and students.
