Overview
We are looking for a Registered B5 Nurse to join the Interventional Radiology team at Dorset County Hospital for a fixed‑term post covering maternity leave. The role involves providing safe and effective patient care within the Interventional Suite, CT and Ultrasound Departments, while also offering support to patients within the wider department.
Hours
37.5 hours per week, Monday‑Friday in core service hours; no overnight or bank‑holiday work.
Responsibilities
- Pre, peri and post‑procedure care of patients undergoing interventional procedures.
- Support patients in the department as needed.
- Work as part of a team while autonomously within scope of practice.
- Ensure a positive patient experience, promoting dignity, respect and empathy.
Qualifications / Requirements
- Registered B5 Nurse.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
