About the role of Quantity Surveyor
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be commercially responsible for residential projects from procurement through to final account. You will be working within an experienced commercial team on a range of housing developments, contributing to the successful financial delivery of projects.
Responsibilities
- Managing project costs from inception through to completion
- Procurement of subcontractors and preparation of contract documentation
- Valuations, variations, and final accounts management
- Monitoring budgets, forecasts, and reporting on project performance
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within residential construction
- Strong commercial awareness and cost management skills
- Relevant qualification (HNC/HND/Degree in Quantity Surveying or similar)
- Good knowledge of JCT contracts and procurement processes
