Air Conditioning Engineer – London & South East

Full Time Permanent – £40,000 – £50,000 Basic plus vehicle, laptop, and phone.

• Full-time, permanent position
• Monday to Friday – 8 am to 5 pm
• £40,000 – £50,000 basic salary (depending on skills and experience)

Role and Responsibilities

• Carry out reactive callouts and repairs (pressure tests, compressor changes, fault finding, troubleshooting) – approx. 60 % of role.
• Complete servicing of splits, VRV/VRF, chillers – approx. 30 % of role.
• Undertake installations – approx. 10 % of role.
• Attend and resolve reactive callouts in a professional and timely manner.
• Carry out routine servicing and maintenance to ensure systems run efficiently.
• Interpret schematics/technical drawings to support installation and repairs.
• Keep accurate service and FGAS records.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and best practices.
• Support junior engineers/apprentices where required.
• Contribute to the 1-in‑8 weekend callout rota.

Skills and Experience

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in A/C service & maintenance (Essential).
• F‑Gas certified & Level 2 A/C & Refrigeration qualified (Essential).
• Full UK driving licence (Essential).Strong problem‑solving & fault‑finding skills.
• Team player with a proactive attitude and commitment to high standards.
