Mobile Commercial Gas Engineer – FM Service Provider – Up to £60,000 per annum + Package
Exciting opportunity to join a growing and private building services provider operating across both domestic and commercial environments. This role is ideal for a qualified Gas & Plumbing Engineer looking to work across a varied portfolio, delivering high-quality installations, maintenance, and repairs while maintaining excellent customer service standards.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Carry out installation, servicing, and maintenance of domestic and commercial plumbing and mechanical systems
- Diagnose and repair faults across gas appliances and plumbing systems, ensuring long-term solutions
- Complete first and second fix plumbing works to a high professional standard
- Undertake testing and commissioning of systems to ensure safe and efficient operation
- Carry out minor cross-trade works where required to support overall service delivery
- Conduct ongoing risk assessments and ensure compliance with all health & safety regulations
- Accurately record job details, materials, and labour using both electronic and paper-based systems
- Participate in the out-of-hours call‑out rota when required
- Liaise with clients and stakeholders to ensure expectations are met and service levels maintained
- Support and mentor junior engineers and apprentices where required
- Work collaboratively with the wider team to ensure efficient delivery of works across all sites
Hours of Work
- Monday to Friday
- 08:00 am – 17:00 pm
- Call‑out: TBC

Requirements
- Gas Safe Registered (Domestic & Commercial)
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing & Heating (or equivalent)
- Commercial Gas Qualifications (COCN1, CODNCO1, CIGA1, ICPN1, TPCP1, etc.)
- Domestic Gas Qualifications (CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1, CPA1)
- Proven experience in both domestic and commercial environments
- Strong fault‑finding and diagnostic skills
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Excellent communication and client‑facing skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable (Not Essential)
- Unvented Hot Water (G3)
- LPG / Catering Gas Qualifications
- WRAS Certification
- Asbestos Awareness / Manual Handling / Working at Height
- Experience with BMS systems
